Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The article submitted complies with IJIMAI policies. This is an original and unpublished article. The submission has not been previously published nor has it been submitted for consideration by any other journal.
  • The article will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 unported License
  • The submission of an article to this journal has been accompanied by a duly completed Letter of Originality, Conflict of Interest, and Transfer of First Publication Rights
  • All Authors have made significant contributions to the Work and agree with the submission. Authorship has been declared following the CRediT taxonomy criteria.
  • All sources of financial support for the research have been disclosed in the Acknowledgment section of the manuscript.
  • If the article involves research with human participants, animals, or sensitive data, authors confirm that the study complies with ethical standards.
  • Authors confirm that all data supporting the findings are available, either within the article or through properly cited external repositories, or have provided a justification if data cannot be shared.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (docx is preferable to doc) or Portable Document Format (pdf).
  • The text complies with the Author Guidelines in terms of submission format, structure and length, stylistic aspects, and consistency between bibliographic references and textual citations. The article follows the format and content instructions in the Word template
  • The length of the article is below 14 pages in the journal format or specific permission has been granted by the editor to exceed that limit.
  • All tables, graphs, images, or figures are presented and provided according to the instructions given in the Word template.
  • The final references have been rigorously reviewed and only those that have been cited in the text are included. References are numbered consecutively by order of appearance. The Word template indicates the style of references to be followed for different types of documents, with examples.
  • DOI references have been added where available and/or web addresses for references where possible.
  • The use of artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of the article has been declared, if applicable.
  • If this article is published in IJIMAI, the Authors of this paper commit to review three manuscripts submitted to IJIMAI within the next year from its publication.
