Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the establishment of skills and values of the teamwork’s organization
and the internal mechanisms that set up the development of competencies in choral groups. As derived from a theoretical observation, comparing the results obtained by previous investigations, evidence has been found of the usefulness of the therapeutic choir as an instrument for the reduction of anxiety, stress, increase of immunological defences, development of emotional intelligence, increased communication abilities and, more generally, learning progress related to social and affective skills. From the music therapy approach, a therapeutic choral group is considered an essential instrument for the restoration of the work-life quality level because, as the cited scientific studies show, the two areas present the same intrinsic functioning.
