The author openly faces the pedagogical problem which appears on the individual's education. He shows how education is a fundamental function in the existence and life of a community and affirms that the individual cannot develop without the help of education. He points out the general laws of education: harmony assimilation and identification, ideal. He profusely develops the difficult question of social Pedagogy and Pedagogy of personality ending by assigning a twofold character in the idea of education: a subjective and personal one and other objective and social one. As an aim and fundament he accepts the ideas that are found in the Encíclica Divini Illius Magistri on this question.
