Abstract

The book reviewed here is important for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is worth noting the impact it has had in the academic field, demonstrated by the different responses to it in the Journal of Moral Education by authors such as Curren, Miller, and Lapsley, as well as the publication of a précis of the book written by the author himself, along with a response to the authors mentioned above. In addition, the pertinence of a text whose topic has received increasing attention in many countries round the world is clear.
